The Benefits of a Private Jet Charter in Atlanta

Peachtree Aviation offers the best selection and pricing for an Atlanta private jet charter. Our pricing structure is as follows:

  • Pay as you go
  • No hidden fees
  • No membership charges
  • No fuel surcharges
  • Complete and upfront pricing

When you fly to or from Atlanta, you have the choice of several types of aircraft. For shorter flights, a turboprop or light jet would be a nice choice. For longer flights maybe a midsize or super-midsize like the Cessna Citation X would be a good choice. No two trips are alike so using Peachtree Aviation affords you the flexibility to use the best aircraft for each particular trip. A member of our team is always available to help you decide the best aircraft for your next Atlanta charter flight.

Are you already a member of a fractional, jet card, or charter program? We can help you get the most value out of your private jet travel. With the freedom on changing aircraft on each trip, we can make sure you’re always using the most efficient aircraft. If you’re getting a round-trip quote, out pricing will always beat the jet card or fractional pricing model. Blending our service with your existing arrangements will yield greater value and increased utility.

We look forward to hearing from you. Call us at 877-510-JETS(5387) to speak with a member of our team to get started on your next Atlanta charter flight. You can also request a charter quote online via the form to the right.

Airports In and Around Atlanta

Peachtree Aviation has access to a large network of airports in the Atlanta area, providing convenient service for all of your charter flights in Atlanta needs. Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport is the world’s busiest airport, but the Atlanta area is served by several smaller airports as well.

Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL, KATL) is located about 10 miles south of the downtown Atlanta area. The airport’s only fixed base operator (FBO), Landmark Aviation, offers the standard amenities, as well as a conference room, valet service and complimentary shuttle service to the main terminal for connecting flights.

Fulton County Airport (FTY, KFTY), also referred to as Charlie Brown, is located just west of Atlanta and handles much of the smaller aircraft, which would otherwise operate out of Hartsfield-Jackson. Brown Field is one of the top picks for your Atlanta charter jet – particularly if your business takes you to Midtown Atlanta. This airport has two FBOs — Hill Aircraft and Signature Flight Support — and is also home to an on-field restaurant, the Flight Deck Café.

Falcon Field Airport (FFC, KFFC) is in Peachtree City about 25 miles southwest of the central business district of Atlanta. The airport hosts several aviation events each year, including the Great Georgia Air Show. There are no separate FBOs at Falcon Field, but the airport has its own FBO-type services, including basic FBO amenities, a conference room, rental cars, catering through local vendors and complimentary refreshments.

Cobb County Airport (RYY, KRYY) also known as McCollum Field, is about 21 miles northwest of central Atlanta. There are two full-service FBOs on site: Northside Aviation and Preferred Jet Center. The Elevation Chop House and Skybar is a gourmet restaurant also found at McCollum Field. McCollum is a nice option for your private plane charter if business takes you to the Marietta or Kennesaw area.

DeKalb-Peachtree Airport (PDK, KPDK) is only eight miles from the center of downtown Atlanta. It is the second busiest airport in Georgia due to its status as a reliever airport for Hartsfield-Jackson. PDK is a popular option for your Atlanta charter flights to the Buckhead area and all of north Atlanta. It has three FBOs: Atlantic Aviation, Epps Air Service, and Signature Flight Support. It also features two airport restaurants – The Downwind and the 57th Fighter Group Restaurant.

Cartersville Airport (VPC, KVPC) is on the far north side of Atlanta. It is located three miles southwest of the city of Cartersville, Ga., and about 42 miles northwest of central Atlanta. Though a bit more remote than some of the other airports listed, it may better serve your visit if your business is further north. One FBO is located in Cartersville: Phoenix Air.

Gwinnett County Airport (LZU, KLZU) or Briscoe Field, is located about two miles northeast of Lawrenceville, Ga., and 34 miles northeast of downtown Atlanta. If you’re doing business northeast of Atlanta, this is a nice option for your air charter to Atlanta. It has two FBOs: Landmark Aviation and Aircraft Specialists Jet Center, which serve general aviation at this airport.

Least Expensive Option

Peachtree Aviation’s services are often the most cost-effective means of private air travel. Our system allows us to monitor all available aircraft and match up your itinerary with an airplane in the best position to complete your trip. We do all the leg work so you can enjoy the cost savings.

Our guaranteed Atlanta private jet charter program is very similar to what the large jet card and fractional providers use. The difference is that that they double or even triple the occupied aircraft cost to make up for the repositioning costs that they incur. For typical business trips that end up at the same airport as it originates, jet cards are very inefficient.

Example:

On its website, Marquis Jet lists a cost of $115,900 for 25 hours on a Hawker 400XP. This amount represents the base price for 25 occupied hours, before applicable taxes, fees and charges are assessed. For the sake of this argument, we’ll leave out all the taxes and fees that you are certain to incur. This results in an occupied rate of $4,636 per hour charged by Marquis.

We recently completed a private jet charter flight for a client departing Morristown, N.J., for a meeting in Nashville, Tenn., on a Learjet 31A, which is comparable to the Hawker 400XP. They returned the same day after completing the meeting. Total occupied time on the aircraft was four hours. Our cost to the client was $9,402, including all taxes and fees. If they had used Marquis Jet, the trip would have cost them $18,544 before taxes and fees – nearly double what they paid us!
