America’s Independence Day has been celebrated once more by citizens across the nation. Millions of dollars were spent on parades, fireworks and food for grilling out, three activities that have become associated with the 4th of July. This is the one day where almost all Americans get together and celebrate the birth of their country, with many of them going all out to do so. Given that next year’s holiday will fall on a Friday, it will make for an extra long weekend full of fun. If you are thinking about taking a vacation next year rather than staying local (not a bad idea by any means), there are a few destinations you may want to mark down. The 4th of July is celebrated in every municipality in the U.S., but some places put on shows and events that are simply unmatched.
Whether you are planning on getting together with friends or want to plan a fun-filled family getaway, there is something for everyone.
